How did no one at Hogwarts have a guitar that they played in the courtyard?

Everyone who went to college knows that there is always that one dude with a guitar playing weird acoustic covers of songs so why didn’t Hogwarts have one of those?

Hogwarts had a lot to offer kids, they even had a chorus! But musical instruments don’t seem to be a hot commodity among the students at Hogwarts. Maybe because frogs helped them to create songs but it is interesting that there were no guitars in the series because, let’s be honest, you get a bunch of people together and someone is bringing out an acoustic guitar.

It was the 90s. No one wanted to sing Wonderwall while they were relaxing outside? Still, when you think about the more strict professors at Hogwarts, it becomes clear that maybe instruments were not allowed. Imagine Umbridge if someone had a guitar out and was playing songs. She’d probably break it with magic right there in front of them and tell the entire school that no singing was allowed ever.

It is funny though to think of the chorus learning songs without a piano. To be a fly on the wall in that rehearsal. Still, what is the deal? Guitars existed in Europe and Harry Potter was just a normal kid. What if he loved guitar? Would he not be allowed to bring it? What were the things that kids were allowed and not allowed to bring with them? Does Dumbledore hate them because he can’t play? I have a lot of question about the recreational time at Hogwarts.
