The real battle this week on Fear The Walking Dead is against time. Alicia went after Annie and the other kids to try and get them to leave with the group because the nuclear reactor is about to melt down. But before she can convince them to leave, she will need to fight her way through the walker traps they have set to get to them. John and Dwight are still looking for Sherry. The plane is still not fixed. And time is running out fast.

Grace is trying to buy them some more time but she may not be successful. Morgan is trying to get to Strand and Charlie, whose balloon went down inside the radiation zone, before they are exposed to the radiation. Everyone is gearing up for a full-fledged push to get out of there before the reactor goes.

As the show heads into the mid-season finale, it’s clear that the enemy they are trying to beat before the show goes on hiatus is the nuclear reactor. Will they be able to get out before they all are exposed to massive levels of radiation?

The official synopsis for Fear The Walking Dead “Still Standing” is rather cryptic and doesn’t reveal much about how the group is going to manage to get everyone out of the area to safety before the reactor melts down:

"Strand and Charlie seek safety. Dorie helps Dwight on his quest. Morgan stays focused on the greater mission. Elsewhere, Alicia refuses to give up."
