The Lion King red carpet: 10 of the most show-stopping looks
Atandwa Kani, Mandi Kani and John Kani
The Kanis made things a family affair on the red carpet with coordinated orange, black, and white looks. John Kani, who voices Rafiki, opted for a yellow bowtie, while his son Atandwa went with red.
Eric Andre
Though Eric Andre is notorious for his unorthodox talk show, he isn’t a name that immediately comes to mind when you think “fashion icon.” He took a massive risk on the red carpet with his fluorescent pink suit and neon green embroidered undershirt, but he definitely pulled it off wonderfully.
Chloe x Halle
R&B duo and IRL sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey stepped out in coordinated black ensembles. While Chloe opted for an oversized suit, Halle stunned in a black minidressed adorned with stars. Though we won’t see her as Ariel in the live-action Little Mermaid just yet, Halle looked every bit like the royalty she’ll soon be playing.
Kalen Allen
Last but certainly not least, Kalen Allen was an explosion of color as he channeled Simba and Nala’s feathered companion, Zazu. A white lace top and high-waisted black trousers were underneath a feathered black cape and a spectacular orange neckpiece.
