Young Justice: Outsiders episode 17: More impending fave moments
The Outsiders are still trying to shut down meta-human trafficking. While they aren’t who exactly is behind it yet, we can look forward to more iconic Young Justice moments.
Our favorite teen heroes are back, and they’re still trying to save the world and get to the root of this season’s big bad. With so many villainous contenders, they’ve got their work cut out for them. We’re not sure what mystery the Outsiders will unravel first in this week’s episode. However, we can expect some more favorite Young Justice moments.
And yes, we did say episode. We’re only getting one episode each week (save for the season finale on August 27).
Seriously, the mid-season return alone gave us some memorable scenes to add to our weekly replay list. (Yeah, we catalog and rewatched our favorite scenes, don’t judge us.) There was Halo’s nonbinary identity. Dr. Jace’s developing subplot. Then, there’s that heartwarming moment where Forager tries to comfort Victor, even when Vic tries to isolate himself from his strange found family. Apart from these cathartic moments, we can expect this week’s episode to commit to the reoccurring discovering theme.
We already know that Gretchen Goode isn’t very good, to say the least. The furies are on the cusp of a heroic turnover. Oh, and most of the Justice League members are still fugitives. We already know that Darkseid is behind everything this episode, with a couple of stray villainous arcs, but there’s still a lot to contemplate in this second half of the season.
While we try to connect all our varying fan theories, at least we can attempt to draw Blue Beetle. After all, we can’t just stew on our Young Justice: Outsiders theories all week, every week. A sketch pick-me-up is a good relief from the sad Swamp Thing saga. Seriously, DC Universe, stop making us cry every week, multiple times a week.
Clearly, the lack of weekly trailers is a way to deter us from spoiling the episode. Young Justice knows us too well not to expect us to take a few seconds of a teaser and overanalyze them. DC Universe is just saving us from ourselves, but at least we have some art tutorials to keep us occupied.
