July is here, and for some people that means diving into the pool or the ocean. For readers, however, July is the perfect month to dive into a good book. And young adult fans have quite a few to choose from.
It’s official: July is upon us. For some, that means diving into a cold pool, or even into the ocean. For others, July is the perfect time to dive into a good book — and even with publishers primarily releasing bestsellers in the spring and fall, there are plenty of exciting releases hitting shelves this month. In particular, young adult readers have a lot of new stories to look forward to.
Oddly enough, suspense seems to be a theme for July, with a number of young adult books focusing on forgotten pasts and unearthed secrets. We suppose uncovering the twists and turns associated with such storylines makes for a fun beach read, or even gives readers something to do on plane rides.
And of course, the rom-com stories often associated with this time of year are popping up again. After all, who doesn’t enjoy a sweet, somewhat comical romance story during a sunny, carefree month? If you’re looking for heartwarming entertainment, the young adult section will have a few new contemporaries donning its shelves in July.
We’d also be remiss to leave out the young adult fantasy books coming your way this month, especially given the positive responses many of them have received from early reviewers. Fantasy is one of those genres that hits the spot year-round, and the summer is no exception to that rule.
Overall, July has a ton to offer in the way of young adult novels. So which ones are we planning on diving into?
