Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD preview: Are we back on Kitson?

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD looks to move things along both on Earth and in space this week. So where did FitzSimmons end up? And what’s Sarge up to?

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is all over the map–literally. Most of the team is back on Earth, but FitzSimmons and Enoch are still out somewhere in deep space.

I’ve already asked the question of where exactly Enoch teleported them off to, and it’s safe to say that it’s somewhere nearby. Kitson’s not far off…

Here’s the official synopsis for this week’s episode, “Toldja,” courtesy of ABC:

"After finding themselves in yet another gambling dilemma, a mysterious stranger offers Enoch and FitzSimmons a ride home where, it turns out, two shrikes aren’t better than one."

What’s odd about this synopsis is that all of the press photos released with it are of the SHIELD team that’s back on Earth. And the preview for this week’s episode after last week’s episode just showed everyone on Earth.

We’ll see how Agents of SHIELD chooses to balance the episode between the two main plots going on. It sounds like FitzSimmons is on their way home, at the very least.

So yes, it very much sounds like Enoch takes them back to Kitson, which might not be a great idea, given all of the hubbub that happened just before they left. But perhaps if Enoch finds them a suitable ride, they won’t be there for long.

Now, on the Earth-side of things, what do we think Sarge is up to? May is obviously bringing him and Snowflake back to SHIELD HQ, and it looks like it goes poorly. Sarge is going to try to take control of the situation–and that could potentially be for the best. He does have experience with the shrikes.

But how much can you trust a man with Coulson’s face? That’s the question Agents of SHIELD will need to answer.
