Magic has rules for a reason and we should remember them

The Harry Potter series is filled with wonderful spells but also there are rules to magic that we should always remember because it is a dangerous game these witches and wizards play.

Of course we know that Harry Potter is filled with magic but, more often than not, we forget that the series has rules for said magic to protect the wizarding world. When those rules are broken, that’s when we end up with things like Grindelwald and Voldemort.

These rules aren’t to keep witches and wizards down. Instead, they’re meant to protect the world at large and breaking them is good for only the wizard who wants to bring destruction. Clearly, we know that rarely ever works out for them either. So, why follow these rules if you’re a witch or a wizard? Well, if you don’t, you can end up losing your ability to perform magic which is your own fault because that sounds awesome (to be able to use magic, that is).

But also because it is the law. That’s like us going around and breaking the law and then just shrugging it off. We don’t do it because we want to but it is our civic duty and, just like us, the wizards must abide but those same rules and follow them when it comes to magic. So sure, the students of Hogwarts would love to do magic outside of school but it isn’t allowed and it makes sense that they can get expelled if they break it.

Next. The important thing to remember about a patronus is that they are built from happy memories. dark

Remember the rules of magic? Know why we need to follow them? (Or, I guess, the witches and wizards need to follow them?) Let us know what you remember in the comments below!
