J.K Rowling is not writing new Harry Potter books

Wizarding World fans have some new Harry Potter books on the way to them, but they are not being written by J.K. Rowling despite previous reports saying so.
It was a great time to be a fan of Harry Potter last week. Wizarding World fans learned that there would be four new magical books to delve into, however, there has been some mis communication as to who is writing them. Specifically, whether it is J.K. Rowling or not.
Naturally, with J.K. Rowling being the creator of the Harry Potter world, fans, and more importantly the media, assumed it would be the world-famous author who would be writing the new stories.

Reports cropped up all over the world wide web stating it would be Rowling penning the new novels, however, this has officially been debunked.
J.K. Rowling is not penning the new stories.
An official announcement was made via her team on social media. It detailed how mis reports had been made and how the new books would definitely be released, but would be published by Pottermore Publishing, inspired by the British Library exhibition and its companion books ‘Harry Potter: A History of Magic.’

The interesting thing will be whether or not it makes a difference whether or not the books are written by J.K. Rowling. Some fans will no doubt be put off if the books are not written by her and others will be fine with it. What will be interesting is what side will be greater.
