What if we did Harry Potter and the Cursed Child instead of 3 more Fantastic Beasts movies?

While there are supposed to be a few more Fantastic Beasts movies, what if, instead, we focused the last two movies of this deal on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child?

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is currently making its way around the world, opening theaters places and bringing the story of Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy to Potter fans all over the world. But, since we have three more movies in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series, what if we used two of those movies to film a version of Cursed Child for the world of film?

I’m going to be honest: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald wasn’t great. It complicated already existing storylines and changed the history of some of our favorite characters. So, I have a fear that that is going to continue to be a problem throughout the rest of these films.

Plus, it didn’t do so well around the world. So, instead, what if we finished up the story within the next film and moved on to a different aspect of the Harry Potter series? There are so many other stories we want to see out of this franchise and for it to continually give us more Fantastic Beasts seems as if we’re going to get stuck in this same storyline for all five movies.

But maybe they’ll surprise us and change it up. It’d be a nice change of pace.

We still have quite the story to finish with the rest of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films but we can also do that in the next movie and use the rest of the series for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
