Big Little Lies season 2 premiere live stream: Watch online
We’re headed back to Monterey for a new season of Big Little Lies, and we can’t wait to see what the women get into now that Perry Wright is dead and gone.
For quite some time, we wondered if we’d be getting a Big Little Lies season 2. Since the first season was based on a novel, we figured that’d be it and we’d not return to Monterey any time soon. Lucky for us all, HBO and company saw our need to return to this messed up town and gave it to us.
Now that we know we’re getting season 2, we’ve speculated on who could be in it, what it could be about, and so much more. We don’t have to wait that much longer to find out though. The show is premiering on HBO and we can’t believe we’re going to see Meryl Streep join this already incredible cast as they investigate the death of Perry Wright.
As we remember from last season, Perry was abusive, gross, and basically evil to his wife Celeste (Nicole Kidman). So, at the end of season 1, the women of Monterey fought back against him and, in a shocking turn of events, pushed him down the stairs and killed him. Sorry, Perry!
While it seems as if they’re going to get off for self-defense (all of them are walking free throughout the trailers so, that has to be the case, right?), it doesn’t mean that Perry’s family doesn’t want to know the truth. Hence why Meryl Streep comes to town.
Always filled with twists and turns, Big Little Lies keeps us on our toes and it is going to be exciting to see where season 2 takes us!
