Hogwarts Express

Everyone who loves the Harry Potter series has always wanted their acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and to be able to ride the Hogwarts Express. Now at Universal Orlando Resort, you can do just that! The Hogwarts Express is taking guests on a journey to the school where Harry Potter learned everything about being a wizard.

There are two different options to board the ride, and both options have a different storyline. If you’re boarding the Hogwarts Express from Universal Studios Florida, you’ll go through King’s Cross Station to get on the ride. You’ll be put into groups which will be who you ride with. If your traveling party is small, you might be paired up with other guests. From King’s Cross, you’ll travel through the English countryside to Hogwarts Castle, eventually getting off of the attraction inside Island’s of Adventure!

If you’re boarding the Hogwarts Express from Hogsmeade Station inside Islands of Adventure, your journey will take you through the English countryside back to the city. Along the way, you’ll see some familiar Harry Potter friends and maybe even the Knight Bus! Once the ride is over, you’ll depart the train inside Universal Studios.

Because this attraction takes guests between parks,  you are going to need to have a two-park ticket. Tickets are scanned before entering the ride queue. There is no height requirement for this attraction, so pile everyone into a cabin and get ready to set off for Hogwarts.
