Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts

The biggest draw at Universal Orlando Resort is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The immersive land brings Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade right to sunny Florida. When you enter Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, you’re greeted by a full-size dragon on top of Gringotts Bank, and it breathes fire! Be sure to stand around for a few minutes to get that perfect Instagram picture of the giant dragon breathing fire.

Escape From Gringotts takes riders on an epic journey down to the vaults of the wizarding bank, but things don’t go as planned. You’ll encounter quite a few unexpected characters to show up, as well as Lord Voldemort himself. Before you even get on the attraction, you’ll take a self-guided walking tour through the bank and see some of the many goblins who work there.

Then, as you venture deeper into the bank, you’ll find offices of those goblins and eventually Bill Weasley, who is about to take you into the vaults of Gringotts. To get down to those vaults, you’ll hop aboard a large elevator that bounces and rocks as it travels into the depths of the bank. Once off the elevator, you’ll grab your goggles and off you go.

Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts is a high-speed thrill ride with dips, turns, and 3D simulators. It’s definitely a ride that people with motion sickness might want to sit out of. There’s also a height requirement of 42 inches. If someone in your group does not reach that, you can utilize Universal’s rider swap.
