Revenge of the Mummy

When it comes to roller coasters Revenge of the Mummy is one of the best. From a great storyline to high-speed thrills, this coaster has it all. Before getting into the line, you’re going to need to place all of your belongings into a locker just near the entrance to the ride.

Then once you enter the queue, either through Universal Express or standby, you’ll notice you’re going through a huge movie set with larger than life hieroglyphs and little passageways that lead to the ride car. Be warned, though, some of the little holes in the wall and steps on the ground are interactive booby traps meant to scare you as you go through the line.

Once on your ride car, you’re going to want to hang on. The coaster starts out somewhat slow and calm, but it gets fast pretty quickly as you meet the Mummy himself and experience rooms filled with fire and loud noises. One scene in particular in the final room is a bit scary with the Mummy breaking through glass.

Because of the nature of this attraction, some elements might be scary for people traveling with you, especially younger kids. If there is someone in your group who does not meet the 48-inch height requirement or is too scared to ride, Revenge of the Mummy does offer rider swap. Ride if you dare, but be sure to watch out for the Mummy who wants to steal your soul.
