Here’s the thing about the Malfoy family

Every time we look at the Malfoy family, we see Draco and his hatred towards his father and what they made him do but there is a lot more that meets the eye with them.

Draco Malfoy had quite the life and he grew into a character that we all could love and respect. But it is important to look at Draco’s relationship with his parents and how it helped him grow with his own son.

Scorpius Malfoy’s mother may have died but Draco still cared for his son and tried to be there because he knew what it was like having a father who only wanted one thing. Still, they have their issues but at least Draco and Scorpius have a better relationship than Draco and Lucius had. Breaking the Malfoy trend of their parents not being the best out there.

But with Draco, he at least had Narcissa who, while not the best mother, still cared for her son and wanted him to be happy. Which is maybe the best part of the Malfoys. Sure, they’re not great. They have their issues, but there is some part of them that wants greatness for their family. They’re very misguided in how they want that success but the care for their family is still there.

I think that maybe Draco learned from the best parts of his parents and is trying to apply them to his own family but he still has a way to go to be great for Scorpius and himself.
