What if the vampires from Buffy the Vampire Slayer were the vampires in Harry Potter?
The great thing about rewatching old TV series is finding ways to connect them to the Harry Potter series and now we’re looking at Buffy and their vampires in context with Potter!
Harry Potter may still have vampires show up, we don’t know, but as far as we know, they could very well look like the vampires that we see in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. For those who have watched the show, it features vampires who can look just like normal human beings until they’re ready to attack.
So, why not have that be the case for the vampires in Potter? Again, we haven’t seen them. At least in the movies so who knows what it means but, with that, we can definitely see vampires in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and how cool would it be if we kept the same feel as an already established series?
Part of the problem with vampires and werewolves is that there are so many that already exist out in the nerd world. So everything kind of contradicts. What would be fun is to style something like a vampire after something that already exists. Bringing it up as in the same universe would connect fandoms and just generally be fun!
That being said, it probably won’t ever happen in any fandom but still it’s fun to think about how we can connect our series together and see some of our faves crossover. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Harry Potter may only exist in fanfiction but it is nice to think about.
