Be one with the Force: The best tips for navigating Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

It’s always a special moment meeting your favorite Disney character. At Disneyland and Walt Disney World, guests can currently see some of their favorite Star Wars friends inside the Star Wars Launch Bay, and now inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

During our time in the new land, we were able to meet and greet with Rey, Chewbacca, Storm Troopers, First Order generals and Kylo Ren! You should know before going in that these characters will most likely not be signing autographs, and they don’t stay in one place for too long. When we saw Rey, she was standing near the edge of the marketplace. But when we actually met her, she had made her way down to the Resistance base near the entrance to the upcoming Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride. We also saw Chewie “fixing” one of the Resistance ships with the help of a planet local. There will also be droids rolling around for guests to interact with in the future!

One of the great things about roaming characters is that you never know when or where they are going to show up. This really does help to enhance the feeling that you are immersed in the land of Batuu. Be sure to have your cameras and phones out and ready for these chance character encounters.
