Ah, summer. That idyllic time of sunscreen, sunshine and all the books you can manage to cram into a single day. Pool time is always reading time, right?
Luckily, everyone who’s looking to escape the dumpster fire of our real world into a more entertaining fictional one has lots of options this month.
Whether you’re looking for a magical fantasy, a contemporary story of friendship, a modern romance based on a classic story or a prequel to a popular television series, there’s a little something for everyone hitting bookshelves in the next few weeks.
But, just in case you’re not sure what to dig into first – don’t worry, we got you. We’ve dug through some of the most highly anticipated new releases – and a few surprising debuts – and done our best to figure out what’s worth your spending your valuable summer reading time on.
