Looking to get your hands on Harry Potter: Wizards Unite exclusive content? UK fans on the EE network are in luck!

EE customers in the UK have another reason to remain with the network. Well, that is if they want exclusive content for the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite game. Niantic and EE have struck an exciting deal.

The game is still to come, which means the details are a little hazy right now. CEO of Niantic, John Hanke, shared that there would be higher rewards at some locations called Inns and Fortresses and there will be special quests. These will only be available to EE customers and will coincide with the roll-out of the 5G service in select cities later this week.

The 5G service is important. Hanke acknowledge the problems Pokemon Go! players experienced on the 4G service, and hopes that the upgrade will help to get around those syncing issues. This is the same company that released the Pokemon game, so it’s good to know they’re looking into the issues and how things can be different.

An exact date hasn’t yet been revealed, but it won’t be before May 30, when 5G comes out. Those who will remain on the 4G networks will still be able to access the exclusive content but there may be some of the problems.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will be available on all networks but you won’t get the exclusive content if you’re not an EE member. Those who are already EE customers or those who sign up afterward will be able to access it all.
