Richard Madden as Sirius Black, a dream casting decision, am I right?

Many of us have dreamed of our perfect casting for a Marauders series and what if we got Richard Madden as Sirius Black himself? How perfect would that be?

Look, the Marauders are some of the most beloved characters in the entire Harry Potter series and just take a moment to think about what it would be like if Richard Madden took on the mantle of Sirius Black. Played by Gary Oldman in the films, Sirius Black is a tortured soul who has gone through so much in his lifetime.

He lost his family, his best friends, was wrongfully imprisoned and then, when he was there for James’s son, he lost his life while still not free. It’s upsetting when you stop and think about it. And who better to bring that to life than Robb Stark himself? The Game of Thrones actor is making waves with his show Bodyguard on Netflix and now, after starring in Rocketman opposite Taron Egerton, he may be a perfect casting choice!

That is, if we ever get a Marauders series. It is something that many fans (myself included) have been asking about for quite some time so maybe sometime soon we can finally get more of the story of James, Remus, Sirius, and Peter before everything went south.

Then again, Richard Madden could also play Lupin and any other character in the Harry Potter series and we wouldn’t exactly be complaining about it. To be quite honest, any amount of Potter content is the perfect amount to us fans!
