Growing up from nothing made Harry Potter into the selfless hero the series needed

Sure, Harry Potter had a lot of money when he got to the wizarding world but for the first eleven years of his life, he knew nothing of his fame or fortune and it makes him a better hero.

Harry Potter is the hero that truly didn’t want to be one. He was just a boy when he realized what he had to do and, in defense of Harry, he just wanted to learn magic and be a kid. But he took to his duties and did what he had to for the betterment of the wizarding world.

And honestly, maybe that is because of his upbringing. He had nothing with the Dursleys, only lived in Dudley’s hand-me-downs and ended up being mistreated. So when he suddenly has money and shines at Hogwarts, it is very clear that having nothing as a child has helped to keep him humble.

And also he has Ron and Hermione there to yell at him when he’s being too much. But still, that upbringing turned Harry into the hero that we’ve come to know and love. He doesn’t put himself before anyone and he always tries to be the best he can be and that’s what makes him the hero that the wizarding world needs and the hero that we loved to watch. Harry might have had a lot of problems when he was younger but at least he ended up being a perfect hero for us all.

Harry Potter may have entered the wizarding world and discovered his fame and fortune but I think his upbringing with the Dursleys helped him stay grounded in his mission and he had to learn how to be the best wizard he could be to save the world.
