Soarin’ Around the World
One of Epcot’s best attractions is Soarin’ Around the World, where guests feel the wind in their face as they climb aboard a hang glider to take them on a tour of some of the most iconic places in the world!
If you’ve ever wanted to visit the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, or even the African savannah, Soarin’ Around The World allows you to do just that all from Walt Disney World. The attraction begins in the queue where there are interactive games and quizzes to keep you entertained while you wait. Then you’ll be sorted into one of three theaters here your flight will take off.
Once in the pre-show area, you’ll meet Patrick, your chief flight attendant. He’ll let you know about safety while on board, seatbelts, and where to store your Mickey ears during the flight. After you get all settled into your seat, be ready for the flight of a lifetime. If you’re wearing sandals or other types of shoes that might easily come off, be sure to take them off before you get buckled into the ride.
Soarin’ Around the World has a high guest volume, so it’s not necessary to get a FastPass+ reservation. The best time to ride is later in the evening when most guests are in World Showcase eating dinner or getting ready to watch the nighttime fireworks show. Soarin’ is great for guests of all ages, but if you have a fear of heights, this one might not be for you.
