15 can’t-miss attractions at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida

During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park in 2018 the Mad Tea Party will take guests on a colorful teacup ride as special lighting and other effects put a glowing new spin on the night. The family-friendly after-hours event offers trick-or-treating, meet and greets with favorite characters in costume, plus the must-see “MickeyÕs Boo-to-You Halloween Parade” and “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks display. Mad Tea Party

Magic Kingdom Park is filled with classic attractions, and one of the most iconic is the Mad Tea Party. Guests get to spin around in a giant teacup until they are very dizzy to celebrate their very merry unbirthday!

Something most guests don’t know is that a special guest gets to ride with Alice from Alice in Wonderland. When Magic Kingdom opens, head to the Mad Tea Party and be the first in line. That guest will get to ride the attraction with Alice in a teacup, and what could possibly be more magical than that? To do this, you’re going to want to rope drop Magic Kingdom, get to the Fantasyland attraction as quickly as possible, and be at the park about an hour and a half before it officially opens to guests.

While most guests will look past this attraction if they don’t have kids, it’s a great one to relive fond memories of Disney trips past, and create new ones with family and friends. The classic attraction has been a staple at Magic Kingdom park for many years and is loved by many.

This attraction is great for guests of all ages and a FastPass+ reservation is not a necessity. The best times to ride are first thing in the morning, or later in the evening when everyone is at the bigger attractions like Big Thunder Mountain or Pirates of the Caribbean. Even though the ride is short, it’s worth the sometimes short wait to have some fun!
