Style Diaries: How to dress like Emilia Clarke

As Daenerys Targaryen, Emilia Clarke is a fierce queen with a strong sense of style. All the same, it’s her everyday style we want.

Considering how Game of Thrones has infiltrated pop culture, it likely comes as no surprise that Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the series, has become a staple of the entertainment industry. From the red carpet to social media, we tend to see a lot of the actress. That’s why she is our latest inspiration for the Style Diaries.

Not only is Clarke a force to be reckoned with on Game of Thrones, but in real life she has a sense of style that grabs our attention. While some of her looks are certainly better suited to red carpets and major award shows, there are other outfits that she has rocked that are perfect for a night on the town, heading to work, or even a more casual outing on the weekend.

Basically, there is nothing that Emilia Clarke wears that doesn’t serve a purpose. But for us, it is all about finding pieces that work for more of our every day lives. And if our inspiration can be found on a budget then that is even better.

While we may not be able to snag the exact pantsuit that the actress wore to an HBO film premiere or the long sleeve maxi dress she wore to the Solo: A Star Wars Story premiere, that doesn’t mean we can’t find pieces that remind us of what she wore. Honestly, we love finding new pieces that call to mind our favorite celebrities without breaking the bank and that still look just as stunning without a major brand label.
