The Perfectionists have finally tracked down Nolan’s killer. Or have they? Here comes the first season finale for Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.
Well, it’s official. It was Jeremy, on the rooftop, with a fence post.
At least, that’s what the Perfectionists think after last week’s episode. Not only did Jeremy destroy his (highly encrypted) laptop, but he also went on the run, begging Caitlin to come with him. Had she not tricked him, Jeremy would be long gone to London, instead of getting shot by Taylor.
Then again, even when you know who did it, do you ever really know in PLL? Freeform’s synopsis of the episode suggests not:
"In the aftermath of a shocking event, Ali, Mona and the Perfectionists try to pick up the pieces of their lives. However, new information is uncovered which makes them question everything they think they know."
One thing the synopsis specifically avoids noting? Jeremy’s mortality. In the final seconds of last week’s episode, Caitlin happily calls out that he’s alive. As a result, the group gets their story straight, so they can protect Taylor.
But if the guy she shot wakes up and starts talking, there could still be problems. Then again, there could also be answers. Jeremy never actually confessed to killing Nolan, he just implied that he had something to do with it.
Taylor was able to pin the Beacon Guard blackout to Jeremy’s computer, and yes, he was near Thorne Hall. But if there’s one constant in the PLL universe, it’s that people rarely ever work alone. “A” had a literal team of A’s at any given time.
There’s no doubt that Dana Booker will be absolutely giddy at the idea of pinning another – or, more likely, just any – murder on Ava, Dylan and Caitlin. But Ali, Mona and Taylor are experts. If it’s six against one, fingers crossed that Booker gets absolutely humiliated.
