When it comes to Harry Potter, you probably have relationships throughout the series with your friends. So, what does it mean to maintain that kind of bond over the story?

Harry Potter is an important part in a lot of relationships because we ended up growing up with the series. So for many of us, it was something we did with our friends. Whether that be going to the movies or reading the books together, it was a friendship activity.

So much so that many of us keep talking about the series with our friends even years later. It means that we care about these characters, we care about the story, but, more importantly, we care about each other. If our friendship started over this series, we’re all probably still partial to it because it is something we all did together.

Which, arguably, is what makes this series so important. It taught us that we have friends for life and that is okay. Whether it be the same friends we made as kids or ones we found later in life, they’re still friends who we grew with because of Harry and his story. So we tend to keep them close to us.

That being said, the series itself is all about the importance of friendship and maybe that’s why we cherish these friendships so. We know what power a good friendship has and we just want to keep them together in whatever ways possible. Harry Potter had Ron and Hermione and we have whoever went on this journey with us and that is special.
