Ranking 16 of the best BTS music videos

12. “Dope”

Any video that starts with a close up of RM is definitely going to be a good one. Between Jungkook dressed as a cop, J-Hope dressed as a race car driver, Jin as a doctor, and everyone else’s outfits, it’s easy to see why this is a fan favorite. But that’s not the only reason “Dope” is beloved!

“Dope” was the second single released from BTS’ EP The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1 in 2015. Besides being dressed in the outfits of various different professions, the boys use this opportunity to break out some of their fastest choreo ever. There’s not a lot of glitz and glamour to this video, no crazy sets, pyrotechnics or special effects, but that choreography is enough to put this video higher up on our list.

If you’re wondering why a simpler video like “Dope” ranks higher than, say, their OG video “No More Dream,” it’s because they don’t need to have all of the extras when the song is catchy and the choreography is on fire. Give them a spotlight, some cute outfits, and a dance floor, and that’s enough to make a video great.

Another sign this was a great BTS video? It was their first to reach a million likes on YouTube, and then became the first to reach 200 million views in 2017! As of now, it has over 461 million views, which is more than even the top video on our list! Pretty impressive, but there’s better still to come.
