Game of Thrones finale: 3 predictions for Arya Stark

The Game of Thrones series finale is finally here and Arya Stark is alive for now. Will she stay that way? Here are a few predictions on her outcome.

After last week’s episode, who lives and who dies is anyone’s guess. But based on a few fan predictions, there are a few things we can predict for the Game of Thrones season finale.

After running through the burning streets of King’s Landing and seeing tons of destruction and death, Arya is safe… but she lost out on her revenge against Cersei.

What does that mean for this week’s episode? Here are a few predictions.

Kills Daenerys

After seeing the utter destruction in King’s Landing on last week’s episode, Arya is going to be none to happy with the Queen of Dragons. And with Sansa and Jon in her sights, Arya will be given even more reason to kill her.

But that is not the only reason it’s predicted Arya will kill Daenerys. It also has to do with Melisandre’s prophecy for Arya. She said Arya would close brown, blue, and green eyes.  Daenerys has green eyes and is more than likely the next person Arya strikes off her list.

With this being the last episode, it’s time for Arya to pull out her bag of faces. She won’t be able to get close to Daenerys as Arya Stark, so she will have to become someone else. Perhaps she takes out one of Dany’s few allies that are left. Perhaps… Grey Worm?

Tries to kill Daenerys, but Jon beats her to it

A big fan theory swirling about is that Arya will try to kill Daenerys — but her “brother” Jon will beat her to the punch — or stab, perhaps, in this case.

If this happens, both of them will have been involved in the killing of a Queen — one the murderer, the other a witness. If that’s the case, Jon and Arya will either need to get out of King’s Landing ASAP or convince the people that it was right for Jon to kill the Mad Queen, and he should take over as king because of his Targaryen bloodline.

But… since King’s Landing just saw what one Targaryen could do, we doubt they’ll openly accept another. Thus, it seems more likely Arya and Jon will peace out as soon as possible.

Arya leaves

At the end of “The Last of the Starks,” Arya tells The Hound that she does not plan to return to Winterfell. But where will she go? With the amount of tragedy that’s happened in King’s Landing, she is unlikely to stay there.

She is much more likely to travel, grab a boat, and find her peace in a land that hasn’t caused her so much strife. She will go on to see what adventures she can find on the other side of the world, away from anyone she knows.
