During this week’s episode of Game of Thrones, the battle for the Iron Throne will finally unfold. And Daenerys is not likely to show mercy after the events of the last episode.

During last week’s episode of Game of Thrones, Daenerys Targaryen finally led her army south to King’s Landing—although intimidating Cersei proved more difficult than the dragon queen anticipated. “The Last of the Starks” drove Daenerys to her breaking point, taking away another beloved member of her court and another one of her children. This week’s episode will certainly show the battle between the two queens. Sadly, with only one dragon and a depleted army left, things don’t look promising for Daenerys.

Still, the promo shows the Unsullied gearing up to fight the Golden Company. And Euron looks taken aback, so perhaps Jon and Daenerys will have a last minute plan up their sleeves.

With all that’s happening, Game of Thrones fans are in for another epic battle this week. But, unlike the Battle of Winterfell, this one is likely to be wrought with politics as well. Now that Daenerys’ advisors know the truth about Jon’s heritage, there’s bound to be some serious tension—and maybe even outright betrayals—leading up to the season finale. With this being the second-to-last episode, the stakes are higher than ever…and fans might be closer than ever to finding out who will sit on the Iron Throne in the end.
