Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts at Universal Studios Florida

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of the most immersive theme park experiences anyone can do. While being able to grab a butterbeer to cool off is a great idea, being able to be inside in the air conditioning on those hot Florida days is even better.

One of the best things about Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts is that the whole queue is indoors, and it’s incredibly detailed. The space is filled with nods to different parts of the Harry Potter series, and even has animatronic goblins working in the lobby!

The attraction takes you down into the caverns of Gringotts Bank, where it starts to get even colder as you move through the queue. It might be the frozen butterbeer, but it’s also the damp darkness that you’re moving through to get to the ride vehicle.

Guests who don’t enjoy 3D motion simulators probably shouldn’t take part in this attraction. It definitely gets a little intense! Universal does offer Express Passes for Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts, making it even faster to get into the glory that is air conditioning.
