Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout at Disney California Adventure

One of the newest attractions at Disney California Adventure is Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. This ride takes you through a museum of sorts where you’ll see all types of creatures and artifacts The Collector has found and brought back with him from his journeys. Once separated into groups, you’ll enter a new room where you’re greeted by Rocket, who gives you the plans for your mission. You’ll enter your gantry lift to go on a ride that’s out of this galaxy, and see some familiar faces along the way!

The great thing about Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout is that most of the queue is indoors, meaning it’s filled with cold air conditioning. As your gantry lift rises and falls, you’ll also get a rush of cold air whizzing by you.

If you’re planning on riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, the best time is during the late afternoon. The views of Anaheim and Disneyland Park from the photo spot at the top of the tower are awesome! FastPass is available for the attraction and can be reserved through the Disneyland app or by getting a paper FastPass.
