Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is dedicated to conservation and teaching about nature and its role in our lives. It’s no wonder that they would have an attraction themed around the detrimental effects of logging on an ecosystem.

Kali River Rapids takes guests on a raft ride through an environment that’s been devastated due to logging. The fast-paced attraction is set in the Asia section of the park. Twelve guests can fit into a raft at one time.

Most of the queue for Kali River Rapids is covered and has fans throughout. There are plenty of warning signs that you will get wet on the ride. If your group is looking to cool down, but not walk around with wet socks the rest of the day, consider wearing a disposable poncho on the ride.

There are free lockers available to guests near the entrance of the ride. You can store any valuables and phones in the lockers to keep them from getting wet while you ride. FastPass is available for Kali River Rapids and can be reserved day-of most of the time. Guests should also watch out for the final bridge before getting off of the attraction. Other guests can spray boats passing by with water.
