What We Do in the Shadows season 1 episode 7 live stream: Watch online

FX’s What We Do in the Shadows continues this Wednesday. Here’s everything you need to know to watch “The Trial” online and not miss a minute.

Get ready, folks, it looks like actual consequences may be coming to the ridiculous world of FX’s What We Do in the Shadows. 

Given how bizarre this show is, generally, and how often it regularly pretends that the human world has no idea that these anachronistically dressed weirdos that drink blood are vampires, the idea that Nandor, Nadja, or Lazzlo might ever face punishment — of the human or undead variety — for the things that they’ve done.

Well, it turns out that’s an incorrect assumption.

Per the official synopsis:

"The vampires must defend themselves as an international vampire tribunal gathers to judge them for their transgressions."

Now, it’s fair to say that these vampires probably have a long history of transgressions, so it could really be anything, right?

Nope, it’s not, it’s because they accidentally murdered the Baron last week.

In “Baron’s Night Out,” the roommates sort of patch up their feud with the ancient European creature after taking him out for a night of booze and ecstasy-filled human snacks. It finally seems as though Nandor and friends are about to be forgiven for utterly failing at their assigned vampire task. (That’s conquering the New World, of course.)

Until Guillermo accidentally burns him to death with sunlight.

Now, it appears as though the vampires — and possibly Guillermo, though we’re not really sure about that — are going to have to answer for the crime they let happen on their watch.

It’s not clear whether the makeshift funeral taking place in the episode trailer is legitimate or simply meant to hide the fact that the vampires have basically killed their boss.

Nor does it address how the aforementioned “vampire tribunal” finds out what they’ve done. (Though I suppose someone would notice if they Baron just never contacted anyone again?

Will Nandor, Nadja, and Lazzlo be punished? Or will they — as seems most probable — just blame it all on Guillermo?

We’ll have to tune in to find out.
