Be the very best with these adorable Pikachu shoes from Adidas

With Detective Pikachu hitting theaters May 10, everyone’s back on the Pokémon train. These Pikachu shoes from Adidas are the perfect pair of kicks to wear when you go see it.

As the song says, you gotta catch ’em all. And these shoes are no exception. Thanks to @hypebeast on Instagram, we get our first look at the new Pokémon collection from adidas — who have yet to release any info on the collection.

Based on the worldwide ’90s phenomena, these Camper sneakers are shockingly cute. I’m a fan of the subtle all over design, with the bold embroidered Pikachu on the side.

Plus all the yellow is very on brand for our electric little friend — a yellow heel tab, yellow tipped laces. The co-branded tongue labels are also a nice touch, and they even have a Poké Ball on the inside of the tongue!

I own a pair of regular Camper’s, which are crazy comfortable and stylish, so I’m absolutely on board with the Pokémon collab. There’s also a Squirtle design, which makes me think that maybe we’ll also see a Charmander design — to round out the three starter Pokémon from the first game.

These low top shoes are made from leather, so this may not be a good fit for everyone out there. If you’ve never owned an Adidas and are thinking of jumping on the cool kids bandwagon, this should absolutely be your first pair of shoes. They’re fun, attention grabbing, and like I said earlier — crazy comfortable. Keeping them clean might be a bit of a challenge — white shoes get dirty very quickly. Hopefully Adidas will release these shoes sooner rather than later!
