Harry Potter’s Bonnie Wright launches swimwear line made from recycled plastic

Bonnie Wright, Harry Potter’s Ginny Weasley, has officially debuted a swimwear line made from recycled plastic bottles for Fair Harbor Clothing.

Everybody’s favorite Weasley has come a long way since her time in Harry Potter. Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in the Wizarding World franchise, made her directorial debut last year and has become a strong advocate for protecting the environment.

Bonnie has now used her creative talents towards helping the environment in the form of a swimwear line made from recyled plastic bottles. The new line is in collaboration with Fair Harbor Clothing and it offically debuted its new line in April.

Now available to purchase online. 15% of the proceeds from any purchases will go to Heal the Bay, an environmental advocacy organization based out in Los Angeles.

The aim is to bring awareness to the issue of single-use plastics and how plastic can have a second life. It’s no secret that a lot of plastic is thrown away where it could have been used again.
