The tides are starting to turn during this final season of Game of Thrones, especially in the fourth episode. Here’s what people are saying about their loyalty to the throne.

Like standing in an elevator with two doors, some people of Westeros are starting to question which side they should be on. “The Last of the Starks” solidified this even more, as the real war for the Iron Throne waged on after the Battle of Winterfell.

Jon’s shot at the throne just went up big time, as he may have been the second MVP of the battle — next to Arya, of course. It’s a pity that no one has cheered on to have Arya take the throne, because she surely deserves it. But in reality, those on the battlefield are now heralding Jon Snow, and it’s making Daenerys a little uncomfortable.

Meanwhile, more people are becoming privy to Jon’s little secret. And at this rate, Varys seems to think it’s not quite a secret at all. But as more people find out (and they will), they may want to use this to their advantage if they see Daenerys unfit. This may be especially so if she begins to transform herself into the Mad Queen in the same way her father was known as the Mad King.

This episode was full of people reconsidering what they know and who they support, and of course, we witnessed a few surprises because of that.
