A possible Kylo Ren novel was just leaked by Penguin Random House

Penguin Random House Australia just accidentally leaked news about an unconfirmed Kylo Ren book.

Calling all Star Wars and Kylo Ren fans! Rumor has it the son of Han and Leia will be getting his own upcoming solo novel, courtesy of Penguin Random House. According to a leaked work in progress announcement on the Australian Penguin House site, this unconfirmed book will dive into Kylo Ren’s past, and will hopefully reveal more about the dark and brooding character.

The leak was first discovered on Twitter, and just wow.

The description is accompanied by the cover of an already existing book, Black Spire, so it’s safe to assume someone added the wrong description to the book. But now that’s leaving fans theorizing about what this Kylo Ren book could potentially be about.

Will this unconfirmed book show a young Ben Solo happily playing inside his dad’s Millennium Falcon? Will it show Ben being taught the ways of the Jedi by his uncle Luke? Or will it take a dark turn and show a teenage Ben finding his grandfather’s helmet? Personally I hope we get to see more of Matt the Radar Tech, but that’s really just hopeful wishing on my part.

Fans on Reddit are speculating as to what this book could possibly be a part of. Some think it could be a part of the Journey to the Rise of Skywalker series, which was announced at this years Star Wars Celebration.

Without a doubt, this book will give fans some much needed depth to the clearly torn villain. But will it be a part of the new imprint? Disney is known to change things fairly often, so nothing is really set in stone.

But, if I was a betting woman, I’d wager to say this book would be out before Episode IX’s release this December. Either way, I’m pretty excited!
