What can Fantastic Beasts 3 do to fix what happened in the Crimes of Grindelwald?
We all know that the Crimes of Grindelwald is a bit of a mess so what can Fantastic Beasts 3 do to help fix what happened in the second installment of the series?
Look, there isn’t a lot of us who love Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. There were a lot of things happening in the series that aren’t exactly great and it doesn’t help that a lot of fans don’t like that Johnny Depp is still Grindelwald.
So, what can Fantastic Beasts 3 do to remedy the situation? Not much, the storyline is going to need a lot of work. At the end of The Crimes of Grindelwald, we were left with Gellert Grindelwald basically starting a racist army and then telling us that Credence Barebone is a Dumbledore? It’s a bit much for a lot of us to unpack and then grow past.
To be quite honest, it’d be nice if we saw a bit of a jump in time so we can see more of how this connects back to Voldemort. Right now, he’s not even born yet. So we still have quite some time to get down there to when Voldemort shows up. That doesn’t mean we’ll ever get to see him in this series but it’d be nice to know more about the world that raised the Dark Lord.
There is so much we want to see in the Fantastic Beasts series and it is going to be interesting to see how the series grows from Grindelwald.
