Bob The Drag Queen

Bob The Drag Queen may not be your typical queen, but that didn’t stop her from snatching the RuPaul’s Drag Race crown and earning her own spot in the show’s hall of fame as one of the fan favorites.

The second RuPaul’s Drag Race season 8 began, Bob was a clear stand-out. She had perfect comedic timing, and won three challenges including the Snatch Game, in which she played two characters: Uzo Aduba and Carol Channing. She then went on to win the big crown and took home a cash prize of $100,000 to the surprise of absolutely no one.

Post-Drag Race, Bob released the single “Purse First” with DJ MItch Ferrino and also appeared on songs with Alaska and Shangela. She launched her own podcast in 2018 with her drag sister Monet X Change (the most recent co-winner of All Stars 4) called Sibling Rivalry and got her own TV comedy special on Logo in 2017, Bob the Drag Queen: Suspiciously Large Woman.

Bob got more TV exposure when she filled in for Katya on The Trixie & Katya Show on Viceland during her hiatus. In 2018 she made her stage debut in Berkeley, California in their production of Angels in America, out of drag and under his real name, Caldwell Tidicue.
