The AAA Girls have all done huge things on their own, both on the show and after, so let’s get right to them! Alaska is arguably one of the most popular Drag Race contestants to ever compete on the show, thanks to her genius marketing comparable to that of Willam. Both queens knew exactly how to market themselves after not winning their respective seasons, and ended up more popular than any of the winners — though Alaska is a winner, baby.

Alaska first appeared on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and while she had her ups and down, she made it clear she was gunning for the crown. She had auditioned for every season of the show and after her then-boyfriend, season 4’s Sharon Needles, won the previous season, she had something to prove. She was the runner up to Jinkx Monsoon, but that was just the beginning.

She toured the world on tours like RuPaul’s Drag Race Battle of the Seasons, did one-woman shows, released her own music, and of course, she appeared on the second season of All Stars. She was an obvious front-runner right out of the gate, but then her competitiveness came rearing its ugly head after she eliminated Tatianna in favor of her friend Roxxxy Andrews and offered to bribe one of the other contestants if they let her stay. She still went on to win the All Stars crown and rightfully so.

She appeared on the VH1 show Scared Famous, and has continued to put out her own original music. Along with the other AAA Girls, she appeared in the music video for Little Mix’s “Power” and most recently, she announced that she would be starting her own drag competition, the Drag Queen of the Year Contest, which is open to performers of all gender identities.
