Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and more Marvel stars share on-set Endgame videos

The Endgame is upon us and with it comes the end of an era for many Marvel fans, including the stars who helped shape the MCU.

Avengers: Endgame has officially arrived in theaters, and while Marvel still does not want anyone to spoil the movie for fans unable to get to the movies in time for opening weekend, that doesn’t mean we don’t want all the details of filming this epic adventure. And thanks to some of the Marvel stars, we are getting exactly that – a behind the scenes look at what it was like on the set of Endgame.

On Instagram, stars like Chris Pratt and Tessa Thompson are giving fans the ultimate look at what it was like to be on set with so many legends. From moments in costume, to an actual on set scene with a number of the Marvel stars, these videos are our chance to witness history.

One of the first videos we saw came from Thompson, who posted a video of herself dancing in her Valkyrie costume. While she asks what song she is dancing to, there is no sound to the video, so instead it is all about the joy of seeing one of our favorite Thor: Ragnarok characters back in action, even in this small way.

Zoe Saldana also shared not one, but two behind the scenes posts with us, including a video of her getting ready. We not only get to see her getting into character as Gamora, no filter needed, but we also get a single image of her in action alongside Nebula. And while the picture is set against a green screen, it doesn’t take much to tell that this is part of an epic battle scene.

Honestly, even without a lot of context, we are totally here for this image of Gamora in action. Not only does she look fierce and strong, but having Nebula at her side is a reminder of how far these two characters have come over the years.

However, perhaps the greatest behind the scenes looks came from Chris Pratt. Not only did he share a picture of himself in character as Star-Lord with Nebula, but we also got an epic video from the set that even he pointed out is actually contraband. No one was allowed to have their phones on set and yet, here comes Pratt, recording an epic moment before filming that we may never have had a chance to see if not for him.

This video is a true look at Marvel history, as there will never be another time when all of these stars will be on set with each other again. Not only do we see Chris Evans (who clearly sees what Pratt is doing and even calls him out), but there is a flimpse of Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, and so many others. And yes, Chris Pratt completely understands that this is a momentous occasion, which is why he chose to record it for not only himself, but also the fans.

And while it may not be as momentous as the video Pratt shared with the world, we can’t forget the humor of Paul Bettany’s post, where we see him in character as Vision.

In this video we can hear Mark Ruffalo joking that underneath all the Vision makeup (since Bettany is pulling off some of his makeup) it’s actually Ewan McGregor who has been an Avenger all along, which of course cracks Bettany up.

The Endgame may be here now, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to look back. And thanks to the Marvel stars who kept their cellphones with them on set, we can get a few looks at what it was like to be a part of something so epic and amazing. We may be losing some of the greatest Avengers, but at least we have the memories.
