New Harry Potter LEGO sets to be released this August

Dust off your shelves and make some room in that Wizarding World collection. New Harry Potter LEGO sets are on the way and you will be tempted to collect them all.

Ever since Harry Potter and LEGO teamed up with one another, we have been blessed with one amazing Harry Potter LEGO set after the other. Last year the world record breaking Hogwarts Castle LEGO set was released along with Fantastic Beasts LEGO sets to coincide with the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

LEGO has now officially announced they are releasing five new Harry Potter LEGO sets. All five of the sets are to be released on August 1.

Each set is from key moment in the Wizarding World franchise and will be an amazing addition to any fans collection. LEGO was kind enough to give us a heads up in advance about the new sets and they even gave us the specifications about them to share with you.

Expecto Patronum – $19.99 USD

Showcasing the moment when Harry cast a corporeal Patronus for the very first time in order to save Sirius Black from the Dememntors in the Forbidden Forest. Set 75945 is a 121 piece set, ans comes with four LEGO Harry Potter mini figures, Harry Potter, Sirisu, and two Dementors. You can recreate the whole event that occurred in the forest, including Harry’s Stag Patronus.

Hungarian Horntail Triwizard – $29.99 USD

I don’t think we will ever forget the moment when Harry went up against a Hungarian Horntail in the the first phase of the Triwizard tournament in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Set 75946 is a 265 piece set based on this iconic moment.

Featuring four mini figures, each one of them being a Triwizard champion, Cedric, Fleur, Krum, and Harry. The Hungarian Horntail Dragon is the main attraction and it is quiet a sight. With fire breathing from his mouth, every fan will get a kick out of building this particular set.

Hagrid’s Hut: Buckbeak’s Rescue – $59.99 USD

Buckbeak held a very special place in every Wizarding Worlds fans’ heart, so it is only natural that we finally get to build the Hippogriff in LEGO. Focusing on the moment he was rescued from the executioner, set 75947 is 496 pieces in total.

One of the more detailed sets to date, Hagrid’s Hut: Buckbeak’s Rescue has six mini figures in the set. The Golden trio, the executioner, the minister of magic and Buckbeak. Fans also get the chance to build Hagrid’s Hut in great detail. Not only will you be buildng the physical structure but you will be crafting the inside of Hagrid’s Hut as well. With table chairs, the famous pink umbrella, pumpkin patch, everything is there.

Hogwarts Clock Tower – $89.99 USD

The largest of all the new Harry Potter LEGO sets, the Hogwarts Clock Tower, set number 75948, is a whopping 922 pieces. With eight new mini figures and featuring a ton of iconic locations, from not one but two of the Wizarding World movies; Goblet of Fire and Prisoner of Azkaban.

You can visit the Prefects’ Bathroom, Dumbledore’s Office and more with this new set. Kids and adults can choose whether they get up to some Time-Turner time travel fun or take part in the Yule Ball celebrations.

The Knight Bus – $39.99 USD

And finally we have The Knight Bus. Set number 75957 is 403 pieces and creates the iconic triple decker magical bus that we all wish we could ride. Including three LEGO mini figures, Harry Potter, Stan Shunpike and Ernie Prang, the LEGO set has been designed to be fully interactive with a removable roof and sliding beds etc.
