Sirius Black and Remus Lupin: What works about their relationship above anyone else
Two friends who have been through a lot together, both Sirius Black and Remus Lupin know what it is like to lose a friendship over and over again. That’s what makes them so special.
Sirius Black ended up going to Azkaban for something he didn’t do so not only did he have to say goodbye to James Potter but also Remus Lupin. The two were friends since they were in school and watching them have to say goodbye probably wasn’t easy but then again, Remus would have to do it for a second time.
When they were battling at the Ministry of Magic, Remus didn’t really have the time to mourn Sirius because he knew that he had to help Harry. That moment wasn’t about his old friend but about the son of his friend lost long ago. So, when did Remus get to mourn Sirius properly?
Their friendship is special because the two of them were there for each other all these years and now, when they are still fighting against Voldemort, they were doing it side by side. That is until Sirius met his untimely death.
So maybe that’s why we love the Marauders so much. Because we were only given a glimpse of them and we don’t know their full story, we haven’t seen everything we want to about Sirius and Remus and there is so much more to learn. Hopefully, we’ll get our dream and get a Marauders series so we can see these characters once more.
