Game of Thrones vs. the MCU: 5 character battles we’d like to see

Our favorites from Game of Thrones and Marvel are about to face their biggest battles yet this month. We ask which characters would win if these worlds collided?

It is indeed a very stressful time for those of us who inhale blockbusters like they’re going out of fashion. We’re dodging spoilers and steeling ourselves for the loss of any and all Starks, belonging to Marvel, Westeros or otherwise, so quite frankly, we need a distraction. A good one.

So we decided we’d make our beloveds fight… each other. Two casts, both alike in dignity. In Culturess, where we lay our scene.

What could be a better way to pass the time before we see beloved characters fall before our better eyes than to decide who would win in a battle? Would Ghost beat Groot in a fight (undoubtedly)? Would Drax beath a Thenn (…no)?

All are important and philosophical questions that we must – must – dedicate our minds to. If we don’t answer them, who will?

Just as we yearn to know who among our favorites will survive their respective ends of eras, the world yearns to know, when it comes down to it, who would punch the other one harder: Ser Pounce or Goose?
