How friends who grew up with the Harry Potter series react to the series now as adults

Growing up with the Harry Potter series, many of us have friendships that also are connected to the series. So how does that work for us now as adults? Are we all still friends?

We may be grown now but once you’re a fan of the Harry Potter series, you’re kind of always a fan of the series. But what happens when we reexamine those friendships we made throughout the series? Will they still work out and grow with us?

For many, the series was all about friendship because that’s how Harry found his family. He didn’t have a family growing up, only the Dursleys who hated him. So his family became his friends and, for many who read the series or watched the movies, that is the lesson we took from it.

Your family maybe won’t always be there for you but your friends will be. They’ll be by your side and ready to take on whatever forces are out there. So, does that mean those friendships we had as kids will continue to be the ones we can rely on as we’re adults? In some degrees, yes.

It is one of the best lessons that this series taught us. We change and grow but that doesn’t mean that we won’t have those who have always been there for us to lean on. So we can always go back and reconnect to those friends we made while reading the Harry Potter series and maybe even rely on them for things other than talking about the world of Harry Potter and his friends that he made back at Hogwarts.

Next. Dumbledore and Grindelwald and their ‘passionate’ relationship needs context. dark
