What can Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3 do about Credence?

Credence Barebone was a character many of us looked forward to in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and then we didn’t like where his character went. So what can they do in the third film to fix it?

We all know the origin of Credence Barebone now. He was the long lost sibling of the Dumbledores that no one ever brings up in the future so chances are, that isn’t going to be the truth. That or Alberforth just said “Eh, he’s not important” enough and didn’t bring him up to Harry and his friends.

The thing is: It doesn’t make that much sense. Albus Dumbledore had a third sibling that has no importance to the storyline in the future when Alberforth is explaining Dumbledore and Grindelwald’s history? Okay.

So when it comes to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3, are we going to see a different version of Credence? We know now that he ‘knows’ about his past and maybe that means that we’ll get to see him do some more than just trust Grindelwald and what he says to him.

Credence is a very trusting character for obvious reasons, he has to start to look at those who are telling him things and start to adjust his abilities and his trust accordingly. It isn’t a great idea for him to be with Grindelwald in the first place so maybe the first step is Credence Barebone getting away from him and going back to Nagini and Newt Scamander.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child may be the best characterization of Harry. dark. Next

Credence is a wonderful character and one that we clearly all had feelings about so hopefully we’ll see more of his storyline in the third installment to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series!
