Bob comes back to Hawkins as a vampire

According to a Listverse theory list, one of the more farfetched theories for season 3 is that Bob will come back but…as a vampire. That’s right, Sean Astin’s fun character who met a gruesome end in Stranger Things season 2 may return … but he’d want to suck your blood.

Is this far fetched? Yes, of course, it is. We have no proof that other supernatural beings exist in Hawkins. But would it be nice to have Astin back on the show? Yes. For many, we love Stranger Things because it reminds us of movies like The Goonies, which stars none other than Sean Astin.

But the end of season 2 leads us to believe that Bob is super dead. The Demogorgon dogs (like Dustin’s pet Demogorgon named Dart) eat Bob. Is the theory that because he was eaten, he’ll become a vampire?

A more accurate depiction of this theory would be that Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will all probably think he is a vampire, and Steve has to tell them that he’s a different creature from the Upside Down, even if they compare Bob back to being a vampire.

This is definitely an out-there theory and maybe a little bit of wishful thinking, but maybe we will see Bob return to Hawkins, Indiana. Maybe he won’t be a vampire, but at least in some way since the Demogorgon dogs ate him.
