The secret to Dustin Henderson’s father

Dustin Henderson’s father hasn’t been a part of the series as of yet. Just his mother has made an appearance, and all we know is that they moved to Hawkins in the fourth grade. Maybe that means something happened to bring Dustin and his mother to town? 

While this group of friends truly love each other, they aren’t the first ones to ask how someone is doing, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Will, Lucas, and Mike just never asked Dustin about his dad. Maybe it is information that we don’t need to have in order to understand Dustin and his mother.

But it does bring up questions for fans. With everyone else, most everyone is accounted for. Even Eleven has a mother and father, even if we don’t believe that they’re her biological parents. Is there a deeper secret to Dustin’s father? What if Papa isn’t just Eleven’s dad?

There are so many possibilities as to why we don’t know about Dustin’s father. Maybe it isn’t anything that deep, just that he doesn’t talk about his dad. But if we know anything about Stranger Things, it is that nothing happens without a reason, so the fact that Dustin’s father hasn’t been mentioned might be important. Will he come back and bring them a new pet since Dart ate their last one?
