Billy Hargrove is going to go full psychopath

Remember Billy Hargrove from season 2? Well, he’s back, and the theory around town is that he’ll either be possessed by the Mind Flayer and do some damage to Hawkins, Indiana, or he’ll just go full psychopath all on his own. To be honest, either is completely plausible.

In season 2, we were forced to realize that not all the evil in Hawkins comes from the Upside Down. Some came from the people who resided there, like Billy. When he and Max moved to town, everyone seems to have a bit of a run in with Billy.

If it isn’t Max living in fear at home, it’s Steve and the rest of the kids fighting with him at school, making Billy the new bully in town that everyone hates. There were Demogorgon dogs running around at the time.

So what’s to say that he wouldn’t torment the kids yet again? Does he need a Mind Flayer to even influence his actions, or is he just going to be more of a monster now that he was embarrassed last season?

While a great theory, it is also a very obvious one. Of course, Billy is going to be back terrorizing the kids, and he’ll probably continue to make Max’s life miserable because that’s the only version of Billy that we’ve ever gotten to meet so far.
