Thanos’ advantage

Of all the villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos is the most powerful. Really, of all the people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos is still one of the most powerful.

Without the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos is beyond strong, and with it and the Infinity Son

with the gauntlet and the stones, his power is taken to the next level. Even when wielding just two of the Infinity Stones at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, the Hulk was no match for Thanos’ strength. So much so that it sends the Hulk running home with his tail between his legs (i.e., the Hulk doesn’t want to come out for the rest of the movie).

Thanos took on Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy all at one time, and even together, they had trouble holding him down. With his fully-stocked Gauntlet, he was able to get Black Widow, Groot, the Hulk Buster, and Bucky out of his way like it was nothing. Even Captain America couldn’t hold his own against Thanos for long before being knocked out.

Again, on his own, Thanos is powerful and still has what it takes to fight the Avengers singlehandedly. But with the powers of the Space, Mind, Soul, Reality, Power and Time Stones in tow, it’ll take some unearthly abilities to stop him in his tracks.
