Freshly dealing with the loss of her husband, Daniels’ story starts with canon feminist undertones. Albeit subtle, Daniels doesn’t really agree with the newly appointed Covenant Captain, Oram, or his alternate expedition. Perhaps if he had listened to her more, the Covenant crew might have survived or at least avoided any Neomorph or Xenomorph attacks.

Paralleling Ripley’s iconic Power Loader fight scene, Daniels used a crane to fight off the first Xeno in the film canon. After the ending moments in Covenant, we’re still waiting for her journey to continue. Hopefully, it does because she did figure out David’s disguise, and we’re ready for her rematch again that deluded robot.
